Lobby
Lobby / 2006 / collaboration with André van Bergen / Marres / Maastricht - Lobby was in permanent use in the attic of Marres, the centre for contemporary culture in Maastricht, between 2006 and 2012. The inspiration for this sculptural artwork was the idea to create separate sleeping areas for guests who wanted to stay at Marres. A long, narrow passageway, which looks like a typical replica of an existing hotel corridor, leads the guest to an open communal sleeping space.
